About the Trust

A Platform Where Voices Create Change

Mera Ranng began in 2016 as a digital platform creating space for conversations around women, gender, and society. Over the years, it evolved into a public charitable organisation working to promote gender equality, women’s rights, social awareness, and informed public dialogue.[cite: 5]

Formally registered as a Public Charitable Trust in 2019, the Foundation believes that social transformation requires not only programmes on the ground but also spaces where people can question, discuss, listen, and express themselves without fear.[cite: 5]

“The Foundation is strictly non-partisan and not affiliated with any political party. Its work is guided by democratic principles, equality, dignity, freedom of expression, and the constitutional values of India.”[cite: 5]

The 2026 Milestone

Young India: Voices, Change & the Future

Technology has transformed how people communicate, consume information, and participate in public life. A young person with a phone can reach an audience that once required a media house. What kind of India is being shaped by its young citizens?

01

Who shapes public opinion today?

While legacy media plays a role, digital platforms, YouTube, podcasts, and social creators now set the public agenda.

02

How is youth participating in public life?

Participation today spans formal electoral politics, independent reporting, community activism, and online social collectives.

03

Is social media changing democracy?

Does digital reach broaden pluralism, or does it deepen polarization, trolling, and algorithmic misinformation?

04

What do constitutional values mean today?

How are equality, dignity, justice, and non-discrimination practiced in daily relationships and digital spaces?

05

What kind of India do young people envision?

An open forum inviting participants to speak on the societal transformations they demand, and the leadership responsibilities they are prepared to shoulder.

Why This Conversation Matters

India’s youth are often spoken about rather than spoken with. The 10th Anniversary conclave reverses that dynamic, recognizing young Indians not as mere audience members, but as active creators of democratic society.
